Join our Canine High School - AKC FIT DOG club, join our head trainer Carlos on the next pack walk in Long Beach. This group is open to all on-leash walking levels so you can receive instruction while you exercise your dog. Learn techniques and exercises for proper on-leash walking. Learn to effectively prevent and curb pulling using force-free techniques in a welcoming and stress-free environment. Leash reactive dogs are welcome after completing training to safely and effectively curb the reactions during the walk. Now more than ever, fitness is important for both dogs and people. The most commonly recommended exercise to improve fitness is walking. Walking is considered a safe activity that improves muscular strength, circulation, memory, weight loss, increases energy, helps with sleep, and reduces stress. The American Heart Association recommends walking a minimum of 150 minutes per week. Participation in the AKC FIT DOG program will bring health benefits to both you and your dog.
